Senior Programs & Services

We offer a wide range of programs and support services for the senior community. These services are free and open to the public. 

Senior Computer Classes

Our Computer Classes are catered to seniors but are open to all individuals who have a desire to learn the fundamentals, systems & software, and the applications that are available with computers and smartphones. These programs are offered at no charge. Registration is required by completing the form below or contacting our office at 314.367.9700.

Senior Computer Class – Introductory

This program, is an introduction to learning computers and smart phones. You do not need to have any knowledge in what these systems or software offer and you don’t have to be an expert at typing. This is a slow-paced class that introduces the foundation of computers and smartphones and prepares you for the Beginners class.

Senior Computer Class – Beginners

This program helps you “Understand what to do with what you have!” This interactive class provides various exercises from the instructor to educate you on learning the basics of the various types of computers and smart phones, hardware and software, what makes the computer work, and understanding the current Windows application. You will learn how to access your search engine and the internet understand your personal computer security with learning how to avoid viruses and getting hacking. It’s an entry level to computer technology.

Senior Computer Class – Advanced

Learning how to use the applications on your computers (word, excel, PowerPoint, using your email address,) how to make sense with what you’ve learned.

Home Delivered Meals

This program is offered to seniors 62 years of age and older that live in the 63112 zip code. Our nutritionist has designed a meal plan that offers nutritionally balanced meals that you can pick from to eat on any particular day. Rather than the traditional daily delivered meal that keeps you tied to your house, your frozen meals are delivered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with various items in your meal box for you to select from. You’re now open to schedule your days out without the worrying of missing your delivery of food and required to eat the only meal you receive that day. You now have options!
